CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS

During my senior fall semester, in my crisis and risk communications class, I was able to gain tangible experience working with a client to develop a crisis management plan. I partnered with G.R.I.T. Volleyball to create a 30+ page crisis management plan on what to do if a camper sustained a severe injury. We started by developing a crisis inventory chart to assess the potential threats and their impact. This experience allowed me to learn the complexities of crisis communications and the value in understanding, planning, and responding to these issues after they arise.
